Aid has been the sole distributor for Starkey Germany since the
1970s and in 2002 we were appointed a distributor for Swiss based
Bernafon. This has placed us at the forefront of innovative hearing
solutions with enviable international technology development
and support with regard to our laboratory and products that we
supply.

- Almost a decade
ago we pioneered CIC (Completely-In-the-Canal) hearing aids in
South Africa which have received a lot of interest because of
the many benefits they offer those with hearing problems.

- We recently
participated at the SASLHA Conference held in Cape Town and enjoyed
the opportunity of meeting and exchanging ideas with fellow audiologists.
During our discussions we learnt that while many audiologists
are completely at home with recommending and fitting BTE and
ITE hearing solutions, few of them are comfortable in recommending
and most importantly fitting CIC technology.
